Tatiana Lisnic studied at the Music Academy in Cluj, Romania, with Alida Ferrarini in Italy . A recipient of the Herbert von Karajan Scholarship, she has been engaged as a permanent and later as a guest artist at the Vienna State Opera, since 2003  where she performed roles like Adina – Elisir D’ Amore, Susanna in Nozze di Figaro, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, Zerlina in Don Giovanni and Nanetta in Falstaff.



Tatiana had since performed with many of the major opera companies of the world. She made her debut with  La Scala in 2001, in the role of Susanna under the baton of Riccardo Muti, with whom she also collaborated at the Ravenna Festival, the ViennaTatiana Lisnic State Opera in various operas and concerts.

 

After her debut in Firenze as Norina in Don Pasquale in 2002 she also debuted at the La Monnaie theatre in a new production of Boheme as Mimi conducted by Antonio Pappano and in Don Giovanni as  Zerlina in a David McVicar production.

 

Between 2003 – 2005 seasons she made her Royal Opera House debut in London as Norina (Don Pasquale) as well as her Berlin Stateopera debut as Susanna (Nozze di Figaro) and Mimi at the Oper Frankfurt.

 

She has recently sung two new productions of Traviata and Lucia di Lamermoor with the Opera du Rhin in Strasbourg.

 

On the concert platform, she has sung throughout Europe, in Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Germany and Spain with conductors such as López-Cobos, Muti, Gatti and Viotti. She has also recorded Gianni Schicchi on the Naxos Label and a live performance from La Scala’s Nozze di Figaro under Riccardo Muti has just been release commercially on DVD by the TDK label.

 

Future engagements include the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor with the Opera National du Rhin, Strasbourg.
